Holiday Gift Ideas…

can you even handle the fact that the Holidays are literally upon us AGAIN!!! I feel like they just keep looping around quicker and quicker every year! I swear to you, I also still have cards from last year that I literally never got a chance to put a stamp on and mail out! Yeah, that’s my life! So knowing that life can just sometimes get in the way, probably  like most of you, I would rather not think too hard and agonize over gifts… Especially for those people who are just never easy to please… (We all know a couple of them right?!…)

So to help out, I tried to collect a few options of fun, unexpected and of course gorgeous gifts that most people would never actually purchase for themselves, but completely LOVE and USE! I think that’s the idea of gift giving; to give something they would just never treat themselves to.

Here’s 3 options over $100.00:

Agate coaster rimmed in gold (also offered in silver)!… I mean, come on! Who wouldn’t love to showcase and use these! So beautiful! This particular set is from Expo Facto at $110.00 on! And you all know I love me some OpenSky!

Who doesn’t love the idea of a flask, but how many of us actually can say we own one? My hand isn’t raised right now. I would love to get one, and hells yes, I would use it, but can you even stand how gorgeous this handmade copper flask is from Jacob Bromwell?!.. It is beyond amazing at $199.99, and even if never filled with a little pick me up, is a wonderful desk accessory!

Okay, everyone knows by now the love of skulls that I have, but I think that’s true for most, even if they don’t want to admit it! This crystal bottle stopper from Thomas Fuchs, sold at Saks Fifth Avenue for $125.00 is a great host/hostess gift! The first time I saw this I just about died. It’s effortlessly chic…

Here are 3 picks for under $100.00:

I have been a fan of Wexel Art frames for quite some time now, and this set of 3 acrylic frames designed by Eva Zeisel is perfection! The photos or art is all easy to change out, since there are held on by super strong magnets! Genius! Also offered on OpenSky, this is $99.00 well spent.

As a coffee lover… Well, maybe addict, this French Press from Freud is like porn to the caffeine connoisseur! The sleek stainless pot with wood handle is screaming good design! $95.00 is a steal for something that not only looks good, but makes a damn good cup of joe!

Throws are often overlooked by most in their interiors, but a necessity in my book! Snuggling up in this Silk Sawtooth Throw from DWR, for a mere $98.00 will warm up any chilly evening, catching up with the hours of television saved on your DVR! The neutral tones and simple geometric pattern will transition seamlessly into anyone’s environment!

Here are 3 picks for under $50.00:

A luxury candle is always an easy go-to. The 70-hour Dogwood Blossom candle from Joseph Thomas True is one of those awesome finds, which you will give one, and buy one for yourself… The scent is a blend of celadon tea and airy ozone fragrances, appealing to everyone! At $43.00 it’s a great value!

This double insulated glass Therm-O from Aqua Ovo was honestly one of my best selling items ever, when it was offered on OpenSky. It is the perfect gift for co-workers, teachers or anyone! The sexy design is only enhanced by the fact that it comes with a loose tea strainer and simple lid. Thankfully the product is still available and for only $29.00 I would stock up and keep a few in the closet for those unexpected moments where you need an immediate gift!
Blog images11I am the biggest advocate for bedside water carafes as they are ridiculously chic, and so much more attractive than a plastic bottle! Absolutely easiest way to have a bedroom turn into a suite at a hotel instantly! This clean lined offering from Williams-Sonoma starts at only $39.95, and is perfection, especially when you personalize it further by adding a monogram!

Hope you’ll look into a few of my top picks for the gifts that anyone would love to receive!!!

Happy Holidays!
